TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DOT WALLET

Introduction

Welcome to DOT Wallet! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our financial application. By accessing or using DOT Wallet, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

User Registration

To use DOT Wallet, users are required to register an account. During the registration process, users must provide their name, phone number, and date of birth, and create a password. By submitting this information, users give us permission to store and process their data, even if the account is not successfully verified.

Once the registration process is complete, users cannot delete their accounts or the data provided during registration. It is important to ensure the security of your account by not sharing your password or other crucial information with anyone.

Financial Services

DOT Wallet provides various financial services, including money deposits, withdrawals, and loan requests. In order to access these services, every user must be connected to a merchant. Once a merchant ID/key is linked to a user's account, it cannot be removed.

Users should note that DOT Wallet and its merchants are not responsible for any transactions made by mistake or any loss incurred as a result. Transactions cannot be revised, and users should exercise caution when making financial decisions.

OTP Requests

For security purposes, there is a limit of 5 OTP (One-Time Password) requests per user. If this limit is reached, it will renew after 1 week. If a user requires an increase in the OTP limit, they can visit the merchant linked to their account. Please note that charges may apply depending on the circumstances.

Privacy and Security

DOT Wallet takes the privacy and security of user data seriously. We partner with trusted security companies to ensure the safety of your information and transactions. However, if someone else gains unauthorized access to your account or if your account is hacked, DOT Wallet and its merchants cannot be held responsible. It is crucial to keep your account secure by not sharing your phone number and password with anyone.

Loans and Repayments

Users can request loans through DOT Wallet, provided they are connected to a merchant. The loan request process involves contacting the merchant and obtaining permission. Interest rates for loans vary depending on the duration of the loan. Late payment fees will be charged if a borrower delays repayment beyond the scheduled due date.

Account Changes

Certain account details, such as name, phone number, email, gender, and date of birth, cannot be changed directly within DOT Wallet. Users must contact their merchant to make any changes to these account details. Please note that a fee may apply for these changes.

However, users can change their bank details, including account number and address, through the profile page of DOT Wallet. These changes can be made free of charge.

If you have any issues or complaints regarding the services provided by DOT Wallet, please contact our support team at support@dotwallet.in. We strive to address all concerns promptly and provide satisfactory resolutions.
